India IPO Calendar: 13 Listings Expected Next Week
The Indian primary market is entering a quieter phase after the historic Jio Platforms IPO, which raised Rs 30,188 crore and debuted on October 28 at Rs 1,358 per share, a 21.36% premium to the issue price. Investors will now focus on the final subscription days of existing issues and the performance of the 13 companies slated to list next week.
Vedant Poly Fabs, an SME that makes flexible packaging materials such as shrink films and printed laminates, is the only new issue to open its IPO window. The Rs 56.68 crore offering will be open from Monday, November 2, to Wednesday, November 4, with a price band of Rs 88-94 per share. It comprises a fresh issue of 54.26 lakh shares worth Rs 51.01 crore and an offer-for-sale of 6.04 lakh shares worth Rs 5.67 crore. Retail investors must apply for at least 2,400 shares, requiring a minimum outlay of Rs 2,25,600 at the top of the band. Allocation is expected on November 5 and the tentative listing on the NSE SME platform is set for November 9.
Among the six ongoing IPOs, Bombay Coated & Special Steels is the sole main-board issue that will list this week. Its Rs 183.06 crore IPO opened on October 29 and closes on November 2, with a price band of Rs 78-82 per share and a minimum retail application of 182 shares (Rs 14,924). The issue is a fresh issue of 2.23 crore equity shares, earmarked for Rs 125 crore of borrowings repayment and Rs 15.77 crore for capital equipment under lease. Subscription reached 3.98 times overall, 6.89 times for qualified institutional buyers and 3.17 times for retail investors. Allotment is slated for November 3 and listing on the BSE and NSE on November 5.
The week also includes listings of companies whose subscription periods ended last week. EAAA India Alternatives is set to debut on November 2, followed by BLS Polymers, SFC Environmental Technologies and Wiscon Industries on November 3. Antala Industries, with a Rs 23.33 crore SME IPO closing on November 2, is expected to list on November 5. Four additional SME issuers—Maxwell Engineering Solutions (Rs 57.64 crore), Johnsoncab Electricals (Rs 56.02 crore), Vectras Enprocon (Rs 53.05 crore) and HGS (India) (Rs 34.56 crore)—will close on November 3 and list on November 6. MK Sons Fine Jewels, Ajwa Projects and Carver Roboweld are scheduled for November 4. In total, five main-board and eight SME companies are slated to list, subject to final exchange schedules.
The slowdown in new issue openings after Jio’s blockbuster offering reflects a market recalibrating after a period of intense demand. While the number of listings remains robust, the focus shifts to how these companies perform post-listing and whether investor appetite sustains for smaller-cap issues.
Why it matters
Banking and finance professionals need to track these listings to gauge market liquidity, subscription trends, and potential investment opportunities in the post-Jio environment.
